Demonstrations may be organized only by members of the University community and must be peaceful and orderly. Demonstrations must adhere to time, place, and manner restrictions designed to (a) protect the health and safety of participants and the campus community and (b) avoid disruption of the regular and essential operations of the University.

In addition, all demonstrations must be registered in advance and in writing with the Vice President for Campus Safety and University Operations or designee. That office will review the registration and advise whether the demonstration is approved, subject to time, place, and manner restrictions. Organizers of a demonstration must acknowledge agreement to any time, place, and manner modifications before proceeding.
