Information for Students with Disabilities
Sara Bea Accessibility Services, located in the Center for Student Support and Care, coordinates the process by which qualified students with disabilities can request and receive reasonable accommodations to ensure equal access to the programs and facilities of the University. Accommodations do not lower course standards or alter essential degree requirements but instead give students the opportunity to demonstrate their academic abilities. A student may initiate a request for accommodations by registering with Disability Services and providing the appropriate documentation of their disability. Some of the more common accommodations provided include testing accommodations, note takers, and alternate formats of print material.
