University Disciplinary Procedures

The University’s student life policies and disciplinary procedures are under the jurisdiction of the Office of Student Affairs. All alleged violations of University regulations are at the disposition of that office through the Office of Residence Life or its designee(s). To determine if a student is responsible for a violation of the University Standards of Conduct, the disciplinary procedures described below will be followed. Decisions regarding a student’s responsibility – or lack thereof – for a violation of policy will be based upon careful consideration of all available information and evaluated using a preponderance of the evidence standard (it is more likely than not that the violation occurred).
